Windows users were reported camera app made buggy after upgrade or update windows 10 anniversary update. Go to the Start button > Search Device manager. Open device manager from search result.

Check your webcam is showing under “Imagine Device” or “Sound, Video and game controller”.

Right click on the name of webcam, Open properties.

4 Find camera driver in windows 10 Device manager

From top, go to the Driver tab. Under the Driver details section > Check file name with “stream.sys”.

Don’t find stream.sys file then Follow the next roll back Webcam Driver process.

Roll Back Webcam Driver

Follow the Same steps above Device Manager > Right Click on name of Webcam.

Under Driver tab > Choose Roll Back Driver > Go for Yes.

Wait for complete setup, and then restart your PC.

Still are you getting error in roll back, Apply Next third step

Uninstall Webcam Driver

From Device Manage > Right click on Camera name > Properties.

Choose Driver tab > Uninstall > Deleted Driver software for device.

Action Menu in Device manager, select Scan for hardware changes.

It will take time depends on required drivers, Restart PC.
