2 Enable access camera from Camera app

Windows users were reported camera app made buggy after upgrade or update windows 10 anniversary update. People are facing problem on launch camera app, Auto crash or Showing error in place of picture, Popup message with text “Something went wrong”, “Camera app not working in windows 10”, “Can not start camera with error code 0xA00F4244 or 0x200F4244”. Open File Explorer > Pictures from right pane > Right click on Camera roll folder > Properties > Security > Select User name > Edit permission > Full control > Ok.

Check for Webcam Driver update

Go to the Start button > Search Device manager. Open device manager from search result.

Check your webcam is showing under “Imagine Device” or “Sound, Video and game controller”.

Right click on the name of webcam, Open properties.

4 Find camera driver in windows 10 Device manager

From top, go to the Driver tab. Under the Driver details section > Check file name with “stream.sys”.

Don’t find stream.sys file then Follow the next roll back Webcam Driver process.

Roll Back Webcam Driver

Follow the Same steps above Device Manager > Right Click on name of Webcam.

Under Driver tab > Choose Roll Back Driver > Go for Yes.

Wait for complete setup, and then restart your PC.

Still are you getting error in roll back, Apply Next third step

Uninstall Webcam Driver

From Device Manage > Right click on Camera name > Properties.

Choose Driver tab > Uninstall > Deleted Driver software for device.

Action Menu in Device manager, select Scan for hardware changes.

It will take time depends on required drivers, Restart PC.
