You can use this feature in emergency situations.

1. SOS for Apple Users:

Whenever you call with the SOS with your iPhone, it will call a local emergency number. You can also add emergency contacts.

As the call ends you iPhone alert your emergency contacts with the text message unless you select to cancel. And also send them your current location after you enter SOS mode and resend location when it is changed.
Now let us see how to make emergency calls on iPhone:

First Enable Emergency SOS on Apple iOS: Open Settings app > Emergency SOS > Enable Toggle Call With Side Button. Also Turn on toggle Auto Call, Countdown Sound that plays a warning sound while Emergency SOS is counting down to call emergency services.

Step 1: Press and hold the Side Button and one of the Volume Button. Hold it until the Emergency SOS slider appears.
Step 2: Drag the Emergency SOS slider to call emergency services.

This way works only on iPhone X, iPhone 8, or iPhone 8 Plus. And for the iPhone 7 and other earlier models. Follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Press and hold the side button for 5 times. Leave it as an emergency SOS slider appears.
Step 2: Drag the Emergency SOS slider to call emergency services.

Now after this, your device will make your call alerts by sending text until you select to cancel. And after that, your contacts will also get the update of your location.

If you have called by mistake to your contacts then press stop and click on stop calling to stop calling immediately.

You can add emergency contacts by Health App on your iPhone.

2. Enable Emergency SOS on Samsung Galaxy Device.

If you are using Samsung galaxy device then in your device you have a feature called SOS message. You can add four contacts in it, and you can give an alert by pressing the Power Button three times continuously. Follow the steps given

below to set up the emergency call on your galaxy device:

Step 1: Launch the Settings.
Step 2: Click on Privacy and Safety.
Step 3: Enable the Send SOS messages option.
Step 4: Click on Send Messages to option, to select the contacts which need to be alerted through message.

Now select the contact, and it is done. Make a note that 911 can’t add as an emergency contact.

To add location, you need to enable two additional SOS messaging features.

3. Emergency SOS on OnePlus Android Mobile.

First Enable Emergency SOS on OnePlus Settings, Go to the Settings app from home screen > Security & Lock Screen > Emergency Rescue Option > Send SOS automatically & Enable toggle > Now Click on Emergency Call Trigger under the power button section > Also select how many times you press power button to activate SOS in future that call to Emergency number and Send a Message as well..
